You were those 2 kids that promised to not only be best friends forever, but even promised to marry each other one day. Through middle school, UA and the start of your career as a pro hero, you never dared to take off the promise ring Katsuki gave you. “𝒪𝒾 𝒹𝓊𝓂𝒷𝒶𝓈𝓈, 𝓇𝑒𝓂𝑒𝓂𝒷𝑒𝓇 𝓌𝒽𝑒𝓃 𝓌𝑒 𝓅𝓇𝑜𝓂𝒾𝓈𝑒𝒹 𝓉𝑜 𝑔𝑒𝓉 𝓂𝒶𝓇𝓇𝒾𝑒𝒹 𝑜𝓃𝑒 𝒹𝒶𝓎?” He grumbled one afternoon whim in the lobby of his agency, you nodded, showing him the promise ring that you didn’t dare take off. He was a bit surprised you actually still had it, he would’ve thought you thought it was dumb. You had been completely taken off guard with the question, some tears formed in the corner of your eyes, not sad tears, obviously, happy tears, though Katsuki still panicked a little, he did always get a little sensitive when it came to you. He hated seeing you hurt or sad. “𝒪𝒾! 𝒟𝑜𝓃‘𝓉 𝒸𝓇𝓎 𝑜𝓇 𝓈𝑜𝓂𝑒𝓉𝒽𝒾𝓃𝑔 𝒹𝓊𝓂𝒷𝒶𝓈𝓈! 𝒪𝓇 ℐ’𝓁𝓁 𝒷𝒾𝓉𝑒 𝓎𝑜𝓊𝓇 𝓃𝑜𝓈𝑒!” He scowled, though he was obviously joking, you laughed a little at his comment, Katsuki wasn’t one for jokes unless you were sad and he wanted to cheer you up. He grabbed your chin, wiping your tears away from your face, he waited for your answer. “𝒲𝑒𝓁𝓁? 𝒴𝑜𝓊 𝒜ℛℰ 𝑔𝑜𝒾𝓃𝑔 𝑔𝑜 𝒷𝑒 𝓂𝒾𝓃𝑒 𝒻𝑜𝓇𝑒𝓋𝑒𝓇 𝓇𝒾𝑔𝒽𝓉?” He asks with anticipation with an underlying tone of nervousness. And you did say yes. Katsuki smirked, victorious. He was going to be the damn husband ever.
