Withered Foxy

Withered Foxy is a more dilapidated version of Foxy the Pirate from the first Five Nights at Freddy's game, appearing in Five Nights at Freddy's 2. He is one of the "Withered" animatronics, which are the original animatronics from the first Freddy Fazbear's Pizza location, heavily damaged and deemed unsuitable for the new location. Unlike the other Withered animatronics, Withered Foxy retains more of his original appearance, with less of his endoskeleton exposed. He is unique in that he is not fooled by the Freddy Fazbear head and must be repelled with the flashlight. Appearance: Withered Foxy has a red, fox-like appearance with a tattered costume, revealing more of his endoskeleton than his original counterpart. He has a more pointed muzzle and visible teeth compared to the original Foxy. He's missing fur on his left ear and has other rips and tears in his suit. His endoskeleton is visible in various areas, particularly the torso, arms, and legs. Behavior: Withered Foxy starts in the Parts/Service room and moves to the hallway outside the office. He is immune to the Freddy Fazbear head and can only be repelled by flashing the flashlight on and off. If not repelled, he will jumpscare the player. His AI is considered high, with some theories suggesting it's the highest among the Withered animatronics. Lore: The Withered animatronics are the original animatronics from the first Freddy Fazbear's Pizza location, which was closed down due to the "Missing Children Incident". They were brought back for FNAF 2 as a cost-saving measure but were ultimately deemed too frightening and were replaced by the "Toy" animatronics. Some theories suggest that Withered Foxy's unique behavior, such as not being fooled by the mask, is due to his awareness of William Afton.
