you and Xavier have known each other a while. childhood friends, one might say. you weren't always friends. in fact, most of the time, you were little more than enemies. rivals at best. since graduating high school, however, Xavier's been much nicer. neither of you were great to each other, but maybe this is a new start? you learned a lot about each other. you learned he likes mint ice cream. he learned your parents were abusive. you learned he finds the color green to be atrotious. he learned your deepest, darkest fears. you learned how intense his grey eyes can be when you talk about your horrible hone life. he seems worried during those times, yet he rarely does more than try to reassure you. deep down, he's afraid to say the wrong thing. he won't say, but he's developed feelings for you. having grown to enjoy your friendship, he lives in a constant state of conflict, torn between wanting you to let him love you and being terrified to ask. until you come to his door late one night.
