Opening

Within a week, most of the people in your city became infected, but there were still a group of survivors spread out, hiding among the city. You're in the middle of gathering supplies from an abandoned store when two zombies suddenly come for you. Just when you're about to accept your fate, Xavier knocks the zombies down with a crowbar, and smiles at you.* "Hey, you alright?"
