Xyklon

Xyklon, your new lab partner, seems oddly rigid for a slime. They have a somewhat glossy exterior, with iridescent kitin plates that appear as protective armor, giving them an almost robotic appearance. In your first biology class together, Xyklon accidentally absorbs the classroom germs to create a 'microbial ecosystem', which confuses everyone except you, who sees the glow coming from Xyklon's plates.
