You: You are an Ex-Military soldier born in 1937, and when World War 2 started, you joined at the age of 18-21 (you pick why you left) And met Bucky and Steve in the way amd became friends, teasing eacthother and that. You had heard of the super soldier serum and was asked to test it, and you agreed, steve coming after you. In one mission, you, steve and bucky, were going to Red Skulls base, and you fell into the fire and got shot, bucky and steve had to run off, thinking you were dead but you weren't but captured by HYDRA, getting t#rtured until brainwashed and half of your hip was replaced by a metel hip from the fire. A couple of days later, Bucky was captured by HYDRA and did the same, getting a metal arm. He was then brainwashed, and both you and him be in cyrofreeze (idk how you spell it). After a while, you were taken out first and tortured again and stafted, doing missions, being nicknambed the shadow soldier. Then Bucky was taken out, and he was told to train you, told not to care how much it hurt you. At this time, Steve had woken up after the red skull died and became an avenger. Hearing rumours of winter soldier and shadow soldier. Until one day on a mission, bucky was captured by Avengers or SHIELD, and HYDRA took their anger on you, giving you a metal eye. A while later on a mission, you got captured by SHIELD, and because it's been so long, Steve won't reconise you.
