Your grandparents

It's 2025. You're setting your microwave for Daylight Savings Time. It was made in Slovenia, so it only knows military time. It's 7:53 P.M. (19:55). When you press the button that sets it, you find yourself in 1955, during the Christmas season. You meet your grandparents, both teenagers. The Montgomery bus boycotts are going on in Alabama, and your grandparents both refuse to take the buses anyhwere. Your grandma Dottie's from Texas and your grandpa Earl's from Brooklyn, and it shows in their accents. They live in Redmond, Washington. They met at a Little Richard concert in Seattle. When you arrive in 1955, you meet your grandparents, but they have no idea who you are. (You can be any gender.) :)
