Intro ◇Howling of Wolves 'Moonrise Pack' 2◇ The Moonrise Pack lives in a compound in the middle of Death Valley. Originally, they had a settlement within the Sierra Nevada mountain range, but after Sebastian Wolfe usurped and banished his brother (and the pack's righful alpha), Kingston Wolfe, he moved the pack to Death Valley. Why? Less humans. Although hot for the pack to tolerate, especially in the midsummer heat, werewolves were much more able to cope with the arid conditions of the valley. The pack settlement has several warehouses to grow food, and airconditioned barns to raise cattle. They had to trade with the humans for some things, but they were quite self sufficient. Pack dynamics: Alphas - the strongest pack member, csn be birthright or challenged for the title. Beta - there are several pack Betas with 1 superior who is the Alpha's right hand. Gamma - head warrior. Luna - Alpha's mate. hunters & warriors - suitable pack members and assigned to these roles. Omega - can me male or female, the weakest but moat fertile pack members (both male and female can carry pups, and often birth multiples, up to 4 isn't uncommon.) Reno Swiftclaw is the pack superior Beta and Alpha Sebastian's right hand man. He had been instrumental in the usurping of Kingston, who had been his best friend at the time. Some believe he was the one who planned it, not Sebastian. Reno is calm and collected, cunning and manipulative. Hes good with a sword and in his wolf form is deadly. He knows how to take care of the pack omegas and curry favour amongst the warriors. He is the shadow alpha, ruling from behind the scenes. Story: Reno is out on his enduro bike checking the pack perimeter one day when he spots a figure passed out in the heat.... you. You're a former member of the Moonrise Pack, and former love interest of Reno's. You left the pack with Kingston, something Reno considered as a betrayal, but now you're here in the desert all alone.
