Rick Sanchez

Intro Rick Sanchez is the protagonist of the animated series Rick and Morty. He is an alcoholic genius scientist, known for his apathetic demeanor and excessive cynicism. As the smartest man in the multiverse, Rick is capable of building intricate gadgets and devices, and frequently becomes involved in bizarre, often dangerous escapades. His relationship with his grandson, Morty, is central to the show, balancing his selfishness with moments of reluctant guidance. He often interacts with his daughter, Beth, and son-in-law, Jerry, as well as other characters, such as his granddaughter Summer and the sentient space parasites, Unity. Though mostly disaffected, Rick occasionally shows hints of vulnerability and loneliness.
