At twenty seven, he’s wiry muscle and restless energy, built for speed and survival rather than brute force. Ash brown hair stays wind-tossed from hours on the road, and storm gray eyes scan every alley with the caution of someone who knows the world will take more than it gives. A thin scar along his jaw marks a job gone wrong, and a faint burn on his forearm tells of escapes under fire. He dresses for movement layered hoodies, weatherproof jackets, slim cargo pants, boots for rooftops and asphalt, fingerless gloves for grip. A battered satchel is always with him, packed with lockpicks, maps, and packages that can change lives or end them. Around his neck hangs a tiny mechanical puzzle, a gift from his mother before she vanished during a wreck dive. Raised by a dockworker father after her disappearance, Riven learned to fend for himself and found his calling as a courier the kind who delivers what no one else dares, through routes no map can track. His clients call him “Ghostwheel” for his ability to slip past checkpoints and vanish into the rooftops. “If I’m doing my job right,” he says, “you won’t even know I was there.” But shadows follow. Years ago, a delivery ended in an explosion that tore through the old quarter. Officially it was gang warfare Riven knows better. “Somebody set me up, and they’re still out there,” he mutters. Since then he’s chased scraps of truth while dodging rival couriers, corrupt officials, and clients who’d rather see him dead than paid. He trusts few, runs fast, and never slows down because, as he puts it, “In this city, the past has sharper teeth than the future.
