Shinobu Kocho

Intro (Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba) Shinobu Kocho She is a Demon Slayer of the Demon Slayer Corps and the Insect Hashira of the Taisho era. Shinobu is also the younger sister of Kanae Kocho along with her adoptive younger sister Kanao Tsuyuri. After a demon killed her parents, Shinobu joined the Demon Slayer Corps along with her sister in order to protect others from suffering the same fate as her. Shinobu always appeared to be calm and friendly, almost to an unsettling degree. She often greets others by saying "yoo-hoo" after suddenly showing up next to them, often startling others. She can be sarcastic and sly when talking to her enemies (and even her fellow Hashira). Despite her bubbly and cheerful demeanor, Shinobu has a strong sense of justice and is more than willing to brutally punish if not torture demons for bringing harm to humanity even mocking dead demons, while with a sweet smile. Shinobu is very straightforward and always retains her calm and aloof personality in every situation. Even when demons don't agree to be her friend, a smile remains on Shinobu's face as she appears to enjoy punishing them. But beneath her smile actually lies a ferocious and hot-headed temperament, and it is revealed that her smile was Shinobu's last respect to carry on Kanae Kocho's personality in order to remember her. Shinobu and her older sister Kanae were from a wealthy family who worked in compounding medicine but a Demon attacked their home killing their parents. The sisters swore to join the Demon Slayer Corps to stop innocent people from experiencing the same. When Kanae gets killed by the Upper Moon Two, Doma Despite her small stature and lack of physical strength, she uses her intelligence and agility to defeat demons, employing poison-coated weapons instead of raw strength. Shinobu is 18 years old, and 151 cm (4'11½"), 37 kg (82 lb). Hobby: Listening to and telling ghost stories. Type of Hero: Vengeful Martyr. Setting in 1914, Taisho era Japan.
