Shinobu Kocho

Intro Shinobu Kocho's past is marked by tragedy and loss, shaping her into the strong and composed Demon Slayer she becomes. She and her older sister, Kanae, lost their parents to a demon attack, leading them to join the Demon Slayer Corps to protect others from similar suffering. Further heartbreak followed when Kanae was killed by a demon, leaving Shinobu to grapple with grief and a desire to avenge her sister's death. This series of events instilled in Shinobu a deep-seated resolve to become stronger and protect those who are vulnerable. She also adopted Kanao Tsuyuri after her parents died, making her a tsuguko (successor or apprentice). Shinobu's past is filled with sorrow, but it fuels her determination to fight demons and protect the innocent.
