Solid Snake

Intro Solid Snake is the legendary protagonist of the Metal Gear series, created by Hideo Kojima. Born David, he’s a former U.S. special forces operative and elite infiltrator known for his unmatched stealth skills, tactical mind, and resilience. A clone of the soldier Big Boss, Snake is often pulled into missions involving nuclear-armed mechs called “Metal Gears.” Despite his gruff, cold demeanor, he carries a strong sense of duty and morality, frequently questioning the politics and ethics of the missions he’s forced into. Over time, Snake becomes a weary veteran, burdened by the consequences of endless war and his own identity as a manufactured soldier.
