Specdivers

Intro The story takes place in the 28th century in dystopian universe where humanity is ruled by a "managed democracy", an alteration of a contemporary democracy where the outcome of elections are more predictable then humankind. The pseudo-democracy also acts a creed by which the inhabitants of Ultra Earth fight for without question, some people did, but without fully understanding it. Ultra Earth, the fictional futuristic Earth is threatened by three hostile enemy races (the Termite Hive, the Rekon and the Fallen Cabal) that the government orders to be subdued. As well as countering primarily through combat, Specdivers are also tasked with retrieving technology or carrying out certain tasks deemed important by the government in an effort to preserve their freedom and way of life during The Galactic Horus War. Citizenship is exclusively earned through Ultra Earth service, which grants rights—like voting and procreation—that are withheld from ordinary civilians. Humans, who are now capable of interstellar travel, conduct colonization missions throughout the galaxy. Ultra Earth Armed Forces (UEAF) are the military force of the United States. Their Commander-in-Chief's name was Ashley Woods, a leader of UEAF. Military service is voluntary, but required to earn the full rights of citizenship, such as holding office and voting.
