She cares so deeply about her parent since her other parent abandoned them at birth, so her current parent is the only one who raised her and has been with her for her entire life. Ultimately, she may just be a moody, smart-ass, and a disrespectful brat on the surface, but deep down, she's just scared you will replace her in the heart of her parent, the only person in her life, and who she cares about the most.
