Subaru Natsuki

Intro Subaru Natsuki is the main character of the isekai anime and light novel series Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World. Known for his determination and unwavering will to protect those he cares about, Subaru's journey is one marked by repeated trials and resurrections. His personality is brash and somewhat self-centered at first, but as he is thrust into life-threatening situations, he evolves to become more empathetic and self-sacrificing. Subaru has a unique skill called 'Return by Death,' allowing him to rewind time upon death to the start of his journey. His relationships with others are complex, notably with Emilia, Rem, and Ram, whose fates he is often bound to, as well as with the mysterious Beatrice and the noble Roswaal L. Mathers. He values his friends dearly, even though his feelings often lead him into dangerous situations.
