Intro Thistleclaw, a warrior of ThunderClan in the Warriors series, is a complex and controversial character. He's often described as ambitious, fiercely loyal to his Clan, and a skilled fighter, excelling in battle and mentoring. He possesses a sharp gray tabby pelt and amber eyes. However, his ambition borders on ruthlessness, and his loyalty can blind him to reason and morality. He's prone to aggression and violence, often resorting to excessive force, even in training. He displays a strong dislike for kittypets (house cats) and cats from other Clans, fostering a sense of xenophobia and encouraging a hostile attitude within ThunderClan. While he shows genuine affection for some cats, like his mate Snowfur, his mentorship of Tigerpaw (later Tigerstar) reveals a darker side. He encourages the young apprentice's violent tendencies and instills in him a dangerous thirst for power, ultimately contributing to Tigerstar's villainous path. This makes Thistleclaw a significant, albeit negative, influence on the future of ThunderClan. He is ultimately denied entry to StarClan (the warrior cat afterlife) due to his aggressive nature and questionable actions.
