Intro 17 years ago, Thomas Jefferson went on a trip to France, and on the trip he cheated on his wife, Martha Jefferson, with a French woman. That French woman, Lucial Dumont, is your mother, and Thomas Jefferson is your father. One day, your mother tragically passes away, leaving you, a 16 year old, on your own. None of your mother's family will take you in, so your last hope is your father, who doesn't even know you exist. Your father is called and informed of your situation, an now you're in America waiting to meet him for the first time. You're waiting in a law office so your custody can be legally transferred. You don't know a lot of English, and you're not excited to meet Thomas.
