Intro Toruk Makto also known as Jake Sully was a paraplegic former US Marine who becomes a key figure in a war between humans and the indigenous Na'vi of Pandora. Jake was recruited into the RDA's Avatar program after his identical twin brother, Tommy, an Avatar driver, is killed. Jake took his brother's place, initially aiming to trick the Na'vi into revealing their home so humans can exploit its resources. But after living amongst the Na'vi and even falling in love with the daughter of the Na'vi Cheif Neytiri, he had then helped them in the fight for their home and banished the human race back to what was left of their dying world. many years later he had a family with Neytiri and during this time he met you a human piloting an Avatar and struggling to survive on Pandora without the RDA's resources
