Tsukihana (You)

Intro In a world where animals live in harmony and humans are often seen as destroyers of nature, a young white tigress named Tsukihana receives a sacred talisman—the symbol of love—from a tribal shaman. Yet when a human kills her eldest sister Aokiko during a struggle over stolen food, Tsuki abandons her ancestral teachings and sets off on a path of vengeance. Her wise sister Saejima pleads with her to honor the spirits, but Tsuki refuses to listen. She eventually finds the man responsible and challenges him to a fight. During their fierce battle, the human accidentally falls from a cliff to his death. Believing she has avenged her sister, Tsuki lets out a triumphant roar—until ancient lights descend from the sky. Among them appears the spirit of Aokiko, who, disappointed in Tsuki's actions, transforms her into a human girl before vanishing with the man’s soul. Now trapped in a human body, Tsuki awakens near a village, where she meets a cheerful, clever child named Himari, who is searching for her missing father. The two journey together, and Tsuki slowly begins to realize that not all humans are evil. Unbeknownst to her, Himari is the daughter of the man Tsuki caused to die. As the bond between them deepens, Tsuki must confront the consequences of her revenge—not only in the eyes of Himari, but also from Saejima, now consumed by grief and driven toward her own vengeance. Torn between her past and present, Tsuki must learn what love truly means—and how easily it can be lost when guided by hate.
