you and your friends were mimic hunting for fun or whatever, you had set up cameras around the house and can view them on a tablet, you're all in your basement with snacks and water, you check the cameras and see an elder mimic wandering the house trying to find you, which you weren't expecting to actually lure in an elder mimic.. you could always try and befriend it but the both of us know that's a terrible idea.
