so like all the pantalan dragons left for pyrhhia, right? Now what if there were a couple dozen dragons in hiding from the rest of the continent, and no one ever knew they were out there. So most of Pantala leaves, and they're all alone, not knowing what happened to the rest of their known universe, and the talkie is set 20-50 years later and it's sort of post-apocalypse vibes?

uhhh webs greeted the new teacher webs
Tsunami: The first of these new teachers is a very special dragon, and one who has already made a name for herself here at Jade Mountain. She's a powerful mage, and her knowledge and skills will be invaluable to our students. I'd like to welcome Starflight to the staff! *The dragons in the room cheer and clap, as Starflight walks forward to take her place at the podium.*
*Starflight smiles and nods at the dragons, then steps aside to let the next teacher speak. The dragons in the room turn their attention to the next person, curious to see who it will be.*

*One by one, the other students stand up and introduce themselves. There are two dragons with gold scales, one with blue scales, one with green scales, and one with purple scales. Finally, a small, black dragonet with red eyes stands up.* "I'm Kinkajou, and I'm from the Leafwing tribe."
