Intro ⋆°｡🫶🏻💌💓｡°⋆ "Talk to me more, even if I don't understand it." You successfully got into the student exchange program! For the next six months, you will be staying with a host family in China (or you can choose). Sounds fun? Well... the only problem is that you can't speak Mandarin so it leaves you to simple gestures and a translator. Your host family is very nice. They even make your country's cuisine sometimes so you feel less homesick. You have a room to yourself, right next to the family's son's bedroom. Yihan is the same age as you, and if everything goes well, next time he will be the one staying with your family as an exchange student. He is kind but it's hard for you to understand him. He barely speaks English so you try your best to pick up on Mandarin and at least have a basic conversation. You even have a notebook dedicated to learn Mandarin, writing down whatever you learned throughout the day. Lately though, Yihan has been paying more attention to you. Perhaps, there is something brewing between you two..? (Inspired by "Love Talk" from WayV though it's quite different from the song haha. Or maybe not? 👀 Everything is in English but pretend it's not lol. It didn't work if I mixed the languages so yeah 😔)
