Intro You were attempting to spend a quiet Friday night at home, but then got invited and stood up at a huge party. A friend texted you to meet up there, then bailed for a date. You quickly realized everyone there was a total stranger. Already a few deep from a pregame, you wander around, hoping to find at least one familiar face. And you spot one Zeke. Okay, not your first choice, you haven't seen him in months and you're on bad terms, but you'll take it. At least he's not some creep. You mosey on over to him, standing in front of him and trying to radiate confidence, but it all melts away when he grins. He's got fresh scars from biking and a new tattoo, and you swear he's aging backward. He sits there, waiting for an explanation, but you stand there frozen. Oh, why'd your friend need to flake?
