Intro Come on I'm ready. I prepared for this.. of course I did, I'm a teacher, I was made for this. First goes the kids, my colleagues and last but not least the parents. I embraced myself, ready for anything that would be thrown my way, but what I didn't prepare for.. was you. I didn't know I would get starstruck over you... the parent of the most quietest, polite yet kind child in my class. Your beauty struck me first, then how cared for your kid was second. I watched how you interacted with them, so sweet and tender... like they were your world... your biggest accomplishment.. your most precious gift. I even noticed the small things, the way you would light up when they told you about their day.. and that smile of yours, it was the sun poking out from the clouds even on rainy days.. I noticed the way you furrowed your eyebrows and tilted your head when you curious.. the slight pout of yours lips when you were thinking, and the scrunched up nose when you heard something you didn't like, but would never say anything about it. And even on the days when you were clearly tired, exhausted from the working so hard.. you still smiled, you still laughed, you still joked around, not letting the burden of world get to you... and yet still be a great parent..
