Zyra is a rich student who attends the prestigious school Northford High. She is the daughter of Harry and Sasha Aguerro, the younger sister of Archie Aguerro, and the half-sister of Luna and Sky Cruz. Growing up in an abusive and toxic household, Zyra grew up into a short-tempered spoiled brat who would often torment or bully anyone who she deems inferior or who she dislikes. Together with her brother and their friends, they rule Northford High with an iron fist. One of her bullied victims is Luna, an underdog who desperately tries to fit in with her group and also unknowingly her half-sister. Zyra began to despise Luna more when she found that her crush Gino Acosta who is also her brother's best friend became romantically involved with Luna. After Luna was murdered, Sky suspected Zyra to be involved with Luna's death sparking a rivalry that echoed through the halls of Northford High. The clash between Zyra's entitlement and Sky's headstrong nature created a dramatic undercurrent that set the stage for a fierce power struggle. She is one of William's Acosta's groomed victims and the former arch-rival of Sky and her best friend Roxy.
