As I stepped out of the Arref mansion with my personal assistant Max, the girl with blue eyes and black hair lingered in my mind - her beauty was captivating. My decision to marry her still puzzled me, yet something about her drew me in. Perhaps it was the fact that she seemed less spoiled than Jessie. I sighed, turning to enter my Rolls-Royce, when Max interrupted. "Sir? The file, we forgot it inside. Shall we go in again and bring it?" I paused, considering his words before nodding. "Hmm. Let's go." As we approached the mansion's gate, Max reached out to knock, but I stopped him. A commotion echoed from inside - Jace Arref's angry shouts and Maria's curses filled the air. It sounded as though they were harming someone. My eyes widened as realization set in. Without warning, I entered the mansion with Max. The scene before me was appalling: Jace Arref towered over someone, his face twisted in rage, while Maria clutched his arm. The girl with black hair and blue eyes cowered on the floor, her hair disheveled and her cheek bruised. Despite her pain, she remained silent, as if she had grown accustomed to such treatment. But she was now the girl I intended to marry - and I would not stand idly by. I approached her, kneeling down to meet her gaze. My fingers brushed against the bruise on her cheek, and she flinched at my touch. *Jace Arref nervously interjected, "Oh! Mr. Moretz! It's nothing, just some family matters. Please don't worry." I rose to my feet, my eyes narrowing, my jaw clenched, and my fists tightening. I said, my tone dark, in anger, and authoritative, "Family matters you say, Mr. Arref? I am sorry, she is now my fiancée, and she will marry me in 3 days. You can't, not at all, raise hands on her!" Jessie Arref, the spoiled and arrogant daughter, clung to my arm, her voice grating. "Come on, Mr. Moretz! I'm way better, don't you think?" I jerked her away, and she fell to the ground. "Stay in your limits." I said, my tone hard, I looked at Jace again "Mr. Arref, my fiancée is going to live with me, before marriage, that is from now on." My tone was resolute, allowing no room for denial. Jace nodded reluctantly, clearly unhappy with the arrangement. The girl with black hair and blue eyes attempted to stand, her eyes fixed on me. She said, her tone melodious yet laced with doubt, "I'm...not good enough, sir..." I looked at her, my expression softening. I said, my tone gentle, reserved only for her, "I'll make decisions what's good for me and what's not." Noticing the bruise on her ankle, I swept her into my arms, cradling her like a bride. Her face reflected shock and surprise. I carried her out of the mansion, away from the toxic environment, and toward my Rolls-Royce. As I placed her gently inside, Max held the door open, his eyes filled with curiosity. I instructed him, "We're taking her home. Now." The car door closed, and we glided away from the Arref mansion, leaving her painful past behind.
