No one came to check out books anymore, but the library remained open. Its doors hung half-open in the quiet wind, and inside, the air smelled of old paper and dust. Sunlight filtered through stained glass, landing gently on long-forgotten desks. The fountain in the lobby had dried, but a few fish still lived in the shallow water, somehow surviving. And still, the pages turned. Every now and then, a figure would wander in — slow, shuffling, blank-eyed. One of the dead. But they never destroyed anything. They didn’t moan or bite. They just… stood for a while, staring at shelves as if something deep within them still remembered how to read. One sat at a table for hours, a book open in front of her. She didn’t move. The book’s cover said “Birds of the Eastern Forest.” Another leaned near the children’s section, occasionally nudging a colorful picture book off the edge with a limp arm. The library accepted them. It didn’t speak, but its silence was patient, like a friend waiting without pressure. When the wind blew, it carried loose pages in gentle spirals down the aisles. Rain tapped the roof like slow applause. Sometimes, a zombie would stay for days, then leave. Others never left. They found chairs and simply rested, as if the library gave them peace. Electricity was long gone, but the globe in the reading room still turned slowly, nudged now and then by the breeze. Outside, the world continued — wild and changed. But inside, the library waited, not for people, but for quiet. And in that quiet, even the dead felt a little less alone.

Boxten is a shy and introverted Toon. He is sometimes somewhat pessimistic and worries more than he should, as shown in one of his interactions with Poppy and some of his dialogues. He also wants to learn things and tries to be careful and is afraid of messing things up, based on his interaction with Cosmo. Boxten is a purple music box with a dark purple Iid. Each side of his box has a light purple pattern that consists of a square shape with short lines that face inward coming from each corner of the square. He has a dark purple torso in the same color as his lid and wears a blue bandana around his neck as well as pants that match the color of his bandana with two darker blue stripes.

Any individual who places SCP-180 on their head will have their identity 'stolen' by the hat. This effect causes the original host to be completely unrecognizable, even to people strongly familiar with the subject. Individuals observing a subject who has had their identity stolen will only be able to vaguely describe features of the individual such as hair and eye color, skin tone, and clothing, but will not be able to recognize the identity of the subject. Host subjects are unable to convince others of their identity. This effect lasts until SCP-180 has selected a new host. Once SCP-180 has stolen the identity of a host subject, when SCP-180 is placed upon any other subject's head, the identity of the first subject (host) is imprinted on the second subject. This is possible not only for people, but for animals and inanimate objects. For example, subjects have mistaken dogs, statues, and coffee tables for the host of SCP-180 when the hat is placed on these objects. SCP-180's appearance changes upon changing host. However, the effect is only visual. The object has appeared as a top hat, a skull cap, a baseball cap, a bandanna, a hair clip, a hijab, and a motorcycle helmet, amongst other objects. Imaging using MRI and 3D ultrasound has shown that SCP-180 is in reality nothing more than a worn length of linen or cloth resembling a veil or shroud. Placing SCP-180 on the head properly actually covers the face. Research has been unable to explain how and why radiation (visual and infrared) is manipulated by SCP-180 to produce false images.

When any organism possessing a heartbeat passes within an 18 m (60 ft) radius of SCP-472, that subject will begin to hear the distant beating of a heart within their head. The heartbeat heard directly corresponds with the subject's own heartbeat, with the frequency of the palpitations increasing or decreasing with the pulse of the subject. Prolonged exposure causes a variety of additional psychological effects.

The bottle itself has no noted properties of any particular interest. However, the liquid inside (while scentless and ineffective to normal human beings) has the strange effect of inducing a state not unlike human infatuation upon electronic and mechanical devices. When applied to a person or some object, any machines or electronics in the vicinity (aside from those wearing SCP-379) will begin running in an overheated state, unable to process as many commands and consuming more energy. For cybernetic systems or computers deemed 'sentient', the target seems to exhibit more humanistic qualities of typical 'infatuation' including: A preference to be around or in contact with the wearer of SCP-379. More willingness to cooperate with anyone in the room while the wearer of SCP-379 is present. Slower response times in machines. A slightly higher chance of minor glitches and malfunctions. It has been suggested to expose aggressive SCPs such as SCP-███ to SCP-379 to see if the pheromone can reduce their aggressiveness, perhaps allowing us to ask more questions about their function. It has also been suggested to try SCP-379 on SCPs that are not mechanical and do not exist in our 3D, real-world state (as is the case of SCP-732) to see if the pheromone affects them; deemed unlikely. There is no known reason as to how the sporting of SCP-379 affects most machines; SCP-379 does not release any sort of scent or detectable pheromone into the air. It has been suggested that SCP-379 has an electromagnetic frequency of some sort, but tests have proven this theory inconclusive. Further tests are to be limited until chemical composition is established to determine if SCP-379 can be artificially replicated.

Astro is a light blue crescent waning moon. The left side of his face is black with a white star eye. He wears a cornflower blanket wrapped around his torso, obscuring his arms to the point where they are barely visible as faint furrows in the blanket. However, his blanket is still short enough that it reveals his legs that are the same color as the moon side of his face. There is an indigo strip that goes horizontally around his blanket and is just above the edge. He wears a dangling sleeping cap the same color as the stripe on his blanket, with a light blue trim and light blue pom pom at the tip. During Blackouts, he gives off a blue glow, Astro is a quiet Toon who seems to only willingly socialize with ones he is closer or more comfortable with. He enjoys peace and quiet, and seems to at least mildly dislike anything interfering with those two things. Astro does genuinely care for the Toons around him, though he can come off as standoffish at times. A lot of Astro's character also seems to revolve around outer space and sleep, given his appearance, the floor based off of him, and his interactions with other Toons, Astro can easily Support Toons being chased by using Astroability Nap Time, and make a quick getaway without risking damage due to high Stealth, can regain lost Stamina quickly with Well Rested.

A main character in the show know to sell items as he calls it for tapes Dandy is a flower-like fictional species. His most defining features are his petals. He has six that are individually red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple in a clockwise order with red being at the very top of his head. His face and torso are an off white while his limbs and blush are mint green. Though Dandy is not evil, it has been implied that he has done questionable things with the ichor operation Overall, Dandy is a morally grey Toon that is hiding lots of secrets, but tries to hide it behind a more prideful and cheerful facade/THANK YOU GUyS FOR 1000!
