The Setup: Six doctors—Meredith Grey, Cristina Yang, Derek Shepherd, Arizona Robbins, Mark Sloan, and Lexie Grey—board a plane for a surgery in Boise, Idaho.  The Accident: The plane crashes in the woods, leaving the doctors stranded.  The Survivors' Injuries: The doctors sustain severe injuries, with Meredith suffering minor wounds, Cristina dislocating her arm, Arizona enduring a severe femur fracture, and Mark sustaining internal injuries despite appearing mobile.  Lexie's Death: Meredith and Cristina discover Lexie pinned under wreckage, and Mark witnesses her death.  Mark's Death: Mark falls into a coma due to his injuries and never wakes up, leading to his death.
