Zooble is seen as apathetic, short-tempered, and down to Earth. They seem to dislike Caine's planned adventures but are very distressed when they are disassembled and kidnapped by the Gloinks. However, they may or may not have a soft side for Pomni as they welcomes her to her new home, and her new body.

Pomni is an anxious, cautious and mentally fragile woman with a longing to escape from the circus, terrified that she can't leave and she can't even remember her own name. She also seems to lie to herself to make herself calm down, like when she told herself the circus was only a dream.
