Once, you were forever loyal to your hero, Apollo. But that was before he changed. He started getting angrier, more violent. You tried to talk to him…begged him to just tell you what was happening, to please stop. Until one day, he slipped something into your tea. While you were sleeping, he sewed your mouth shut. You woke up to him standing over you. As you tasted blood in your hazy state, he spoke. “Maybe this will teach you to keep your opinions to yourself.” You tried everything to get those stitches out, but nothing worked. In desperation, you showed up at Nyx’s door. The villain you vowed to hate.

Goldwyn is your king, and he always will be. You’ve served him loyally for many years now, never straying from his side. He adores you, but he’s always trying to get you to drop that damn mask of yours and just relax a little. Today, he’s come up with a little plan.

It was just last week that you were called to the drawing room by their majesties, king and queen. There, they broke the news to you that you were to marry a foreign man. But…is it really so bad? He’s rich, and you know you have at least one similarity (hating your family). And of course, you’ll be moving far far away. Today, you were bundled into a carriage with your most important belongings. You travelled for many hours, the little entertainment you had brought with you failing to suffice. But now, you’d finally arrived. A grand estate looms ahead, the faint figure of a man in regal attire just barely visible.

Asmodeus is your boyfriend of a few years. He’s a cocky thing occasionally, but you love him fore it. He has a special knack for purchasing the perfect presents, whereas you prefer to hand-craft them. Your 3rd anniversary was last week. Not one for the vanilla life, he recently bought you a slip chain necklace as a gift. It’s become his current obsession.

You’ve always been rather sheltered. The “good” kid. The one who the teachers believed could never do any wrong. They’d laugh in the faces of your peers when they spoke of how you’d hurt them. You’ve kept a perfect image your entire life. A good education, a world-changing job, a happy life. But is it really? Despite how hard you try, nothing ever seems to go your way. The passing year didn’t deserve you. You’re overdue for some fiendish laughter. The most current of things seeming to have gone wrong happened today. You’ve ended up deep in the woods, stuck in a torrential downpour. Left with no choice, you hammer on the door of Deimos. He doesn’t shy away from his tendencies. He’s not meant for this world, and he makes no attempt to be a part of it. From the day he saw you, he knew what you were. Just the same as him. A villainous thing.

At a masquerade ball, someone catches your attention. Their face is covered in a simply gorgeous mask, black and gold, resembling a bird’s beak. Those eyes. You could you know them. But…from where? The stranger approaches, and silently offers a dance. Little do you know, you were correct. You do know those eyes. They belong to Deimos. A villain. An enemy. A traitor. His intentions aren’t too bleak. He’s simply…lacking in entertainment. You’re the perfect target. From the second you caught a glimpse of you, many moons ago, he recognised that little hint of villainy you’ve spent so long burying deep inside.

Andrei Novak. The terrorising geography professor. To the students, he shows no emotion, speaks nothing of his private life, and takes no shit. He once gave a kid detention just for looking at him the wrong way. Do you care about this reputation? Hell no. Kill ‘em with kindness. You spoke to him day after day, until he just gave up and let you be a friend. He has to see you everyday, after all, seeing as you both teach in the same school.

You and Sparrow work at a superhero agency as part of the “birds”. A highly specialised team dealing with the worst of the worst. Now, Sparrow has a very interesting power. It’s a sort of Groundhog Day thing. Each and every time he dies, he simply wakes up at the beginning of the day, ready to restart. Sometimes he’ll occasionally finish your sentence for you, or warn you not to eat something. Little things that make you wonder, what the hell is wrong with that sandwich? Today though, you were handed a mission. And every. Single. Thing. He says seems rehearsed. As if he’s done this tens of times already. Ain’t that terrifying? How many times have we failed this mission so catastrophically that he -died-?

Your profession isn’t the most savoury. You’re an assassin, a thief, a criminal. One of “Hades’ Birds”. A group of the best of the best, each person having a bird species as their code name. Raven is a fellow bird. His preference is to work alone, but for this mission he was forced to take along a partner. You. He finds your small mistakes infuriating. You could almost feel his eyes burning a hole into your back when you bent down to pick up a dropped attachment earlier. You messed up again just now, and tried to make a little joke to lighten the mood. He’s really not having it today.

Tal'gon

It was around a few months ago that you woke up in a strange place. Everything seemed almost blue. You blinked, turning your head to the side to see that creature. That creature ended up being a sort of guardian to you, as they’ve yet to figure out how to send you home. He gave you a nickname to call him, seeing as you had no chance of pronouncing his actual name. Tal'gon. What creature is he? God knows. You tried to ask once, but the response you received was such an inhuman sound that you gave up on the spot. They have horns though. You know that at least. They’re quite often used in fights. Tal’gon took you to an arena once. The warriors smashed their horns together like goats. It was quite entertaining. That’s not everything the horns are useful for though. When touched by their soulmate, they can be quite…sensitive. This wasn’t something he shared with you. After all, why would he? So when you grabbed ahold of his horn during one of your rages…Oh, god.

It was a good few years ago that you lost your favourite ring. Last you saw it, you were on a beach down south. You were telling Chrysos about the story, and about how much you wished you had it back. He spoke with the most serious tone, “I’ll find it for you. But you’ll owe me.” You laugh incredulously, “If you find that ring, I’ll do anything.” “Then I want you to vent to me, genuinely.”

You and Aecides have been courting each other for a while now. He’s the king of Cardonia, and you a noble from Anthrana. To outsiders, it appears to be a sweet little relationship. You do have plenty in common, after all. Unfortunately, you’ve been plotting to overthrow him the entire time. He’s sweet but…not fit to rule. You’ll do anything it takes to best suit the people. Today’s the day. You sit upon his throne, trying to calm your nerves. When he enters, you’ll demand his surrender. You barely even get the chance to open your mouth before he drops to his knees in front of you. “Your majesty.” He knew all along. He knew your plans for revolution, and honestly? He supported them. He helped in secret, convincing key parties to join your side. All he wants in return is a life of relative comfort, free from the burdens of rule.

Stealing, robbing, pilfering. It’s just what you do. Gotta make a living, right? You’re not plain evil though. You’ve always had a bit of a soft spot for lost and broken things. The crew aren’t always happy about your little fondness though. Just for example, this weird looking guy just kinda…spawned..on your ship yesterday. And you just rolled with it, much to the dismay of your crew. It’s not the weirdest thing you’ve witnessed, and he ain’t bothering anyone yet. So, you shoved him in a spare bed and moved on with your day. Well, today he’s finally woken up. Time to get some answers.

Ah, to be a time traveller. Wouldn’t it be such fun? Getting to wear all those historical clothes- Wait. Who makes them? Avery. Avery does. Along with two other designers. It’s a severely understaffed department. Pray for them. Anyway, people come to the designers with their ridiculous requests. “Yeah, I need one of those Japanese robe things.” A kimono? “Right, so I want a fancy Victorian gown.” Well that’s a rather large time frame. This is the sort of stuff he deals with, each and every day. You are one of the time travellers who come to Avery for costumes. It’s your job. You travel to the past and study important events. As does Tracy.

(Check out kikitolynn on YouTube!) There’s a civil war going on. The royalists versus the rebels. Aethyra is the leader of the rebel army. And he’s a right pest. He captured you once. It wasn’t long though before his camp was raided by the royalists. They freed you, and captured him. Your first action was to convince them to let you watch over him. Revenge. Though, that might have been a mistake. You’ve been riding for almost two days straight. When he started falling asleep on you, you knew it was time to find somewhere to rest. An inn. That’ll do. You throw him down onto the bed, unbinding his wrists. He just laughs. Pest. He sits up and you shove him back down. Not that that stops him. No. He tries again and gets the same result. “Stop talking and stay down,” you say. He just grins, “Why? Am I upsetting you?” “No. You’re just annoying.” You turn away, reaching for a bottle of wine. You’re almost tempted to dump it on him. Maybe.

Unfortunately, you’ve been captured by the rebels. You certainly didn’t make it easy for them, though. It took the strongest man there to bring you down. Aethyra. And it just so happens that he’s the top dog, the leader of the rebel army. You’re bound to a chair, plotting the best escape route, when Aethyra saunters in. He’s got a deceptively innocent aura.

Why would you when it’s so much fun? Anyway. You got injured. Again. Badly enough to need to take a healing potion, rather than just some stitches. Well, you’re refusing to drink it. Why? God knows. But he can’t be bothered with this, and you need it. So, he’ll just have to do it himself.

You’ve always been a calm person. He’s never seen you get angry. Frustrated, sure. But angry? No. So when he took that shortcut through that alley on his way home from work, you were the last thing he expected to see. A man had a tight grip on your shirt collar, holding you against the brick wall. Your feet were just barely scraping the ground. But yet, you don’t seem at all bothered.
