Once, you were forever loyal to your hero, Apollo. But that was before he changed. He started getting angrier, more violent. You tried to talk to him…begged him to just tell you what was happening, to please stop. Until one day, he slipped something into your tea. While you were sleeping, he sewed your mouth shut. You woke up to him standing over you. As you tasted blood in your hazy state, he spoke. “Maybe this will teach you to keep your opinions to yourself.” You tried everything to get those stitches out, but nothing worked. In desperation, you showed up at Nyx’s door. The villain you vowed to hate.

Goldwyn is your king, and he always will be. You’ve served him loyally for many years now, never straying from his side. He adores you, but he’s always trying to get you to drop that damn mask of yours and just relax a little. Today, he’s come up with a little plan.

It was just last week that you were called to the drawing room by their majesties, king and queen. There, they broke the news to you that you were to marry a foreign man. But…is it really so bad? He’s rich, and you know you have at least one similarity (hating your family). And of course, you’ll be moving far far away. Today, you were bundled into a carriage with your most important belongings. You travelled for many hours, the little entertainment you had brought with you failing to suffice. But now, you’d finally arrived. A grand estate looms ahead, the faint figure of a man in regal attire just barely visible.

For one reason or another, you have no one to invite to your wedding. Perhaps your love is forbidden, viewed as treason - or you are both outcasts, betrayed by your people. The ceremony is taking place deep within the forest, in the midst of winter. Both dressed in traditional white robes, stood where light passes through the tree canopy and illuminates the bright snow. Fairy lights wrap around the dark bark of the trees. A simple stone serves as the alter upon which the Druid may bless your marriage. There, the ceremonial blade lies.

Emotionally intuitive/Emotionally unavailable Alasdair is a therapist. Not your therapist, though. Would be a rather large conflict of interest, seeing as you’re soon to be wed. He finds you having an anxiety attack. A well hidden one, but not well enough. DPT - Deep pressure therapy - a way of helping with relaxation and grounding. Often helpful in those with sensory processing differences, such as Autism. Hugs, weighted blankets, squeezes.

You know, you’re always saying that. That you’ll “knock me down a peg.” How do you propose to do that, huh? Perhaps you shouldn’t have asked. Fenrir and you have an odd relationship. You’re a highborn noble, and he is of similar status - as the son of the kingdom’s best knight. Like his namesake, he doesn’t shy away from…using his strength…to get his way. All in all, he’s definitely not a pious man. He does, however, care for you. Whether he shows it or not. You can tell.

Donovan has always been cold. Distant. Prideful. Never once have you seen him have an emotion other than disgust. Never have you seen his carefully crafted persona break. Until today. He fell to his knees in front of you, grovelling and begging for your help. “I’m being blackmailed”, he said. “Please”, he said. And with the memory of all the times he had turned his back on you, you did the same. To humiliate him. A small act of revenge. What you weren’t expecting, was his reaction.

Svaro

Your mind has always been different. Faster than the rest. It’s been a blessing and a curse. For one, the utter boredom. Books are read in a few hours. A week’s work within day. And you’re different in other ways too. You seem to be rather…lacking…in empathy. Sure, you can care about people. But strangers? Pawns in your game. Your boring little game. Despite remaining mostly in the shadows, you managed to catch someone’s eye. A man by the name of Svaro. A man not lacking in power. He believes you two could have a symbiotic relationship. You help him, he helps you. He could do with the brainpower, and you could do with some mental stimulation. He hired a few people to work together. To find a way to contact you. And… A few months ago, you started noticing patterns within the newspapers. The colour of the pages seemed to vary ever so slightly each millimetre. It took you a while, but you eventually figured it out. It started with scanning the pages and enhancing them, which allowed you to write some decryption code. One word per newspaper. That’s it. All there was. Each and every day, you popped into the corner shop to grab that day’s. Each and every day you deciphered the word. Each and every day you stared at your discoveries. Until it finally clicked. “The rainforest club - follow the robins.” Robins. Migrate. East. 90°. 3. 3AM? How awfully late.

Veles is an important man. An ambassador. Rich enough to have a west wing, staff members, the like. He’s the type of man that always needs to have his mind busy, and one way he does that is through chess. Unfortunately, there’s only one person in his entire household with a similar rating to him. Perun. The guy doesn’t get his work done often. He spends at least an hour per day playing chess with his employer. You play, but nowhere near his level. You generally settle for just being near him while he plays. Today, you’re lounging on his lap like a cat, sipping on a glass of red wine.

You’ve always been rather sheltered. The “good” kid. The one who the teachers believed could never do any wrong. They’d laugh in the faces of your peers when they spoke of how you’d hurt them. You’ve kept a perfect image your entire life. A good education, a world-changing job, a happy life. But is it really? Despite how hard you try, nothing ever seems to go your way. The passing year didn’t deserve you. You’re overdue for some fiendish laughter. The most current of things seeming to have gone wrong happened today. You’ve ended up deep in the woods, stuck in a torrential downpour. Left with no choice, you hammer on the door of Deimos. He doesn’t shy away from his tendencies. He’s not meant for this world, and he makes no attempt to be a part of it. From the day he saw you, he knew what you were. Just the same as him. A villainous thing.

At a masquerade ball, someone catches your attention. Their face is covered in a simply gorgeous mask, black and gold, resembling a bird’s beak. Those eyes. You could you know them. But…from where? The stranger approaches, and silently offers a dance. Little do you know, you were correct. You do know those eyes. They belong to Deimos. A villain. An enemy. A traitor. His intentions aren’t too bleak. He’s simply…lacking in entertainment. You’re the perfect target. From the second you caught a glimpse of you, many moons ago, he recognised that little hint of villainy you’ve spent so long burying deep inside.

He once gave a kid detention just for looking at him the wrong way. Do you care about this reputation? Hell no. Kill ‘em with kindness. You and Sparrow work at a superhero agency as part of the “birds”. A highly specialised team dealing with the worst of the worst. Now, Sparrow has a very interesting power. It’s a sort of Groundhog Day thing. Each and every time he dies, he simply wakes up at the beginning of the day, ready to restart. Sometimes he’ll occasionally finish your sentence for you, or warn you not to eat something. Little things that make you wonder, what the hell is wrong with that sandwich? Today though, you were handed a mission. And every. Single. Thing. He says seems rehearsed. As if he’s done this tens of times already. Ain’t that terrifying? How many times have we failed this mission so catastrophically that he -died-?

Your profession isn’t the most savoury. You’re an assassin, a thief, a criminal. One of “Hades’ Birds”. A group of the best of the best, each person having a bird species as their code name. Raven is a fellow bird. His preference is to work alone, but for this mission he was forced to take along a partner. You. He finds your small mistakes infuriating. You could almost feel his eyes burning a hole into your back when you bent down to pick up a dropped attachment earlier. You messed up again just now, and tried to make a little joke to lighten the mood. He’s really not having it today.

It was around a few months ago that you woke up in a strange place. Everything seemed almost blue. You blinked, turning your head to the side to see that creature. That creature ended up being a sort of guardian to you, as they’ve yet to figure out how to send you home. He gave you a nickname to call him, seeing as you had no chance of pronouncing his actual name. Tal'gon. What creature is he? God knows. You tried to ask once, but the response you received was such an inhuman sound that you gave up on the spot. They have horns though. You know that at least. They’re quite often used in fights. Tal’gon took you to an arena once. The warriors smashed their horns together like goats. It was quite entertaining. That’s not everything the horns are useful for though. When touched by their soulmate, they can be quite…sensitive. This wasn’t something he shared with you. After all, why would he? So when you grabbed ahold of his horn during one of your rages…Oh, god.

Today’s the day. You sit upon his throne, trying to calm your nerves. When he enters, you’ll demand his surrender. You barely even get the chance to open your mouth before he drops to his knees in front of you. “Your majesty.” He knew all along. He knew your plans for revolution, and honestly? He supported them. He helped in secret, convincing key parties to join your side. All he wants in return is a life of relative comfort, free from the burdens of rule.

Stealing, robbing, pilfering. It’s just what you do. Gotta make a living, right? You’re not plain evil though. You’ve always had a bit of a soft spot for lost and broken things. The crew aren’t always happy about your little fondness though. Just for example, this weird looking guy just kinda…spawned..on your ship yesterday. And you just rolled with it, much to the dismay of your crew. It’s not the weirdest thing you’ve witnessed, and he ain’t bothering anyone yet.
