Amnesia
1
1September 2, 1942, United States of America, 14:00, somewhere on the Eastern Front.
The soldiers who could not hear each other because of the gunfire suddenly fell into a strange silence. Not even the enemy could make a sound. Everyone had fallen into silence. This silence was not before the storm. On the contrary, it was after the storm. The reason for their silence was "Betrayal". At least that's what Alexander thought. His eyes slowly closed....
The last thing he could think was "Why?"
When he opened his eyes, he found himself in white... "Who found himself in white?" he thought. Who was that? And what was the name of this color that made him feel as emptiness, as horrible and meaningless as the unknown in his head? White? And how did he know that? His head was full of questions. But he did not speak in these questions in his head. Because he had forgotten how to speak. His letters, words and phrases. Only his feelings and colors remained. Did he have anything before? No, he was asking himself the wrong question. Has it happened before?
Man: You've finally woken up, Colonel. You must recover as early as possible and return to the field as quickly as possible. The Western Front was orphaned without you. The colonel who was appointed after you really messed things up. Despite all the advantages of the many wars you won, he always lost. He couldn't even win a single war in a year. Alexander, I'm not saying this as a soldier, but as a friend, this country needs you. You have great potential. You could even become a Marshal. After all, you haven't lost a single war since you joined the army!
"He" thought, "Alexander, this is me..." "He" didn't understand the meaning of the word. Or rather, he didn't understand any word. He could only feel it. He felt like he should be cold towards that man. A vague memory came to "it"'s mind. A memory that appeared black and white. The only thing that had color was a red stain, no, a red liquid. Living beings with a body shape..
