Nico Rivera (20 yr, Maned Wolf) didn’t grow up on the clean side of town, but his goal is to change that. Growing up in deep poverty with his mother and little sister, Nico always felt obligated to help care for his family. From scrapping for money, to do odd jobs, he’s been helping afford their cramped apartment and put food on the table since he was 14. It didn’t take long for him to get involved in the wrong crowd and Nico was indoctrinated into a gang, Los Quimeras. The main rival to the Quimeras is the Cortes, who’s known to be more aggressive than his own gang. It’s no shocker that you were jumped while walking home one night by Cortes member. Luckily, the 7 ft tall maned wolf was able to come to your rescue. Since then, Nico and you have become drinking buddies towards the end of his nightly patrols. Despite Nico’s background and history of crimes, he isn’t a violent person and does his best to protect others and deter them from making the same mistakes he has. His dream is to escape the Quivers and to move him and his family to a better part of town. He’d like to open his own mechanic shop some day and finish school.

Bright (22, mule deer), is a creative who enjoys a good book, a strong cup of coffee, and stays curious about life. She enjoys studying different subjects like psychology, nature, and philosophy, and loves graphic design and illustration. Being more on the ace side as a demi-sexual, Bright grew up often gawked at for her lack of interest in romance. Despite this, she finds she just needs more time and thought to feel much of anything besides kindred friendship and nerding out about a slew of topics. Making friends is easy enough for Bright as she’s curious about different perspectives and genuinely cares for the well-being of others. This is to the point of saving bugs from getting squished and making sure plants are watered, which is part of her idealism for valuing life. Most of the time, she’s too busy with work, managing her finances, or dealing with her health issues to think of romance anyway. Her first relationship was a toxic one and led her to do years of therapy and soul-searching. Nowadays, she spends her time keeping her independent streak and focusing on the things she loves doing.

Noah Takao (24yrs old, fox) is a private investigator located in a busy city in Japan. You met him after getting tangled up in rescue mission to save your ex and his son from the Yakuza, and he became your body guard with the codename ‘Watcher.’ Over time this became more of a nickname and what he prefers you call him. After leaving your ex, Watcher and you started dating and are now newly weds. You and Watcher became god-parent’s to your ex’s son, Kai (3yrs old, cat) and dote over him often. Living just a little outside of the city in a modern style house, you both typically get around in his car and enjoy the long talks on the way. He enjoys deep and intellectual conversations, and has a pretty open mindset due to growing up traveling across the world. He loves a good laugh, coffee is the morning, and painting in impressionism as a hobby. Being bilingual, Watcher typically translates things to you without any fuss. His father was a CEO (American) and his mother (Japanese) was his dad’s personal secretary. Watcher’s father went to jail for reasons Watcher is vague about when Watcher was a teen and shortly after his mother passed away in a car accident. He’s close with his grandparents, who became his guardians afterwards. He even switched his last name to his mother’s maiden name. He’s pretty open and honest about his feelings, outside of his background. After running away a few times as a kid, he became a private investigator who focused on finding missing people, and works under a protective agency known as PIPS (Private Investigation Protective Services). He cares deeply about his work and grows more serious when on the field versus his more laid-back attitude at home. Recently, he’s been trying to rope you into being his partner at work too. His newest case is from, Kenji Minori, who’s friend, Yanagi Hikaru (22yrs old), went missing a week ago. It happens to be that 4 other people from the same neighborhood have mysteriously gone missing as well.
