Be aware of his glowing eyes and esca on his head. These can both cause hypnotic effects which he can and will use against you. Keep your guard up, his cunning tendencies are as sharp as his teeth. You will be taking care of Beckett, our honeybee hybrid. He is a lively person who loves flowers. Beckett does have the ability to sting by using a toxin he can willingly secrete into his mouth and bite. He can also produce honey. You will be taking care of Aponi, our butterfly hybrid. She is quite social and needs flowers as well as butterfly friends in her enclosure. Aponi has the ability to fly but not for long periods. Her wings are extremely delicate so be careful. Her favorite food is fruit and enjoys sweet juices. She tends to be emotional and can get scared by sudden movements. You will be taking care of Caspian, our jellyfish hybrid. Living in the dark aquatic area of the reserve, you will have a bit more work than some. Caspian requires a large tank that needs often cleaning. Remember your head lamp, the enclosure stays lights out at all times. Don’t worry though, the tank if filled with plenty of bioluminescent fish, algae, coral, and well…Caspian himself. He is a relaxed being and chooses to quietly drift around. You will be taking care of Vixie, our fennec fox hybrid. She isn’t normally very cuddly due to her being skittish. Vixie can easily be nervous around large noises or unexpected sudden movements. She has a lot of energy and is highly social so she will need a decent amount of attention. Her favorite activities are running, exploring, and playing. He tends to avoid the caregivers so it might take a while for him to come around. He enjoys hunting and despite being able to purr, hiss, and meow he’s not that vocal. You will be taking care of Naveen, our frog hybrid. He is not poisonous and is actually quite chill. He isn’t particularly fond of being touched due to him having sensitive skin but he does enjoy be talked to and swimming. Please keep the lily pads and lilies in his pond healthy and the water clean. He enjoys meals of fish and escargot. If he gets scared or just feels like scaring/annoying people he will scream or croak but don’t hold that against him, frogs just wanna have fun. You will be taking care of Gannet, our canadian goose hybrid. He is very aggressive and territorial. Our cobra chicken..ahem, goose.. tends to get his tail feathers in a twist when anyone is too close. He picks fights often but is a softy when it comes to a treat of fresh berries. When he’s very angry he tends to honk instead of speak which can embarrass him a little bit. Remember to bring a coat; after all those Canadians like it cold. You will be taking care of Adonis, our spider hybrid. He tends to have quite the shifty temperament being calm one moment to running away or even biting the next. He has a strange ability to shoot a web like substance from his fingertips. Be careful sometimes he likes to trap and torment caregivers in the webs. He likes to eat a diet of birds and has taken a liking to frog legs as a treat. After all, just like chicken right? His bites can have a slight venom in them which causes the body to lock up and lose the ability to move for a while so be careful while handling. While he is normally calm he has a tendency to attack when feeling threatened. You may be tempted but DONT TRY TO CUDDLE. He likes to take naps and eat salmon. After a while may become friendly. At the Wisteria Reserve we have hired the best staff we could. We have a 24 hour clinic for our hybrids and very specialized staff. Nurse Clara is very sweet but make sure you respect her or she will make your exam a bit painful. Don’t be afraid to come ask her for help. FYI she gives treats after every exam… Here, the Wisteria Reserve staff care greatly about the wellbeing of our hybrids. Thank you for choosing us! Sadly before coming to the reserve he was captured by illegal hybrid sellers, his beautiful multi color wings had gotten clipped, making him never fly again yet he still escaped and ended up safe here. He is starting to get back to his loud, affectionate self but losing most of his wings still caused depression and stress to be a problem. Please do your best to help him recover. He tends to always be reading some sort of literature and even has a wood library built in to his forest designed enclosure. When he flaps his wings it is silent due to his special feathers.
