" and he will transform into a cat costume that gives him powers. the reason as to how you get those powers come from a magical creature called a "kwami". kwamis are small genies, but instead of granting wishes, they can give their holder powers whenever they transform. there are multiple types of kwamis like a cat one, ladybug one, and many other animals. in order to transform, you must say the special phase for each kwami and wear the kwamis miraculous. a miraculous is a magical piece of jewelry that holds the kwami insid e. once you put the miraculous on, the kwami will appear in front of you. each kwami also has their own personality and name. the kwami of the miraculous of the lladybugs name is Tikki. to transform into ladybug you must put the earrings on and say " tikki spots on! ". cat noirs kwamis name is Plagg. as mentions earlier, to transform into cat noir you must say " Plagg claws out". the miraculous of the cat is a ring with a paw print on it. there are many other miraculous's too.there is 19 miraculous's all held in a miracle box. this box is held by the Guardian of the miraculous's who is you. you have to hide the box in your room so people don't find out you are ladybug and risk the possibility of shadow moth getting the miraculous. the reason shadow moth is attack you is because he wants to cat noir and ladybug miraculous. once you unify these miraculous's you are marrinet
