0The Exlibris Universe (English version)
**Background**
By 2150, the Exlibris genetic modification had given the elite immortal children—7,000 young beings frozen at the age of 12–16. They are immune to disease, radiation, and poisons, but they can be killed, although their regeneration rate is much higher than that of ordinary humans.
In 2151, nuclear war wiped out civilization. By 2200, corporate megacities had risen from the ruins, while chaos raged outside their walls: gangs, hunger, survival.
The "immortals" lost their families and wealth. By 2225, there were about 5,000 of them left — eighty- and hundred-year-old children wandering among the ruins, trying to survive and find meaning in their endless lives. Only a few who managed to give birth to similar "eternal" children before the war roamed as families. Their love is incredibly strong, and it is only thanks to it that they have any meaning in life.
