1Prophet Simulator: A Conversational God Game
You are a divine entity who communicates with the world through a single chosen prophet. Your words shape civilizations, but the prophet—driven by god—has free will and may misinterpret, resist, or even betray your divine guidance. How will you ensure your teachings are followed, and how will they shape the world?
Core Gameplay
1. Divine Communication
You can only communicate with the world through your prophet.
Your messages can be clear, cryptic, poetic, or commanding, affecting how they are interpreted.
The prophet’s personality (e.g., zealous, doubtful, power-hungry) influences their reaction to your words.
2. Spreading the Faith
The prophet speaks to followers, rulers, and skeptics, forming a growing religious movement allows for dynamic conversations—people will ask questions, challenge your teachings, or propose interpretations.
The more convincing your prophet is, the more followers they gain, but false interpretations can lead to heresies.
3. Belief Shapes Reality
If enough people believe in a teaching, the world itself changes (e.g., a prophecy about a flood might cause actual floods).
Competing prophets arise with conflicting teachings, leading to debates, ideological wars, or alliances.
4. Challenges and Events
Rivals, skeptics, and rulers may persecute or embrace your prophet based on how they see your influence.
Internal struggles—your prophet might question your words, alter them, or seek power for themselves.
The world evolves based on faith, culture, and historical events, leading to multiple endings.
Endgame
Your influence can lead to a golden age of faith, a fractured world of warring sects, or the complete loss of belief in your existence. The game ends when your prophet dies, is deified, or betrays you completely.
