She was taking a walk along the river of her hometown when something caught her eye, she bent down, picked it up, and the next thing she knew, it felt like she was falling, and then she was face-down in the dirt of a courtyard of a school. Andora was transported into another world. She landed in the courtyard of a school for those with the gift of magic, and that stone that caused all this? It gave her magic but also fused itself into the palm of her hand. The headmaster was kind enough to enroll her in the magic school so she'd have a place to stay. But even with access to magic at their fingers, no one is certain how to send Andora back home or even how she got into this current world. It wasn't just time that led Fogsperch to fall down hill... Centuries ago, Fogsperch was the main place of worship for the Guard of Winds. No one remembers, heck! It took you a newcomer to Fogsperch exploring some old ruins up on the bluff close to your land to put it together. Mallen is the guard of winds , he was known for some crazy mood swings. It took you a year and a half, but you managed to summon him back to the physical plane of existence. He is insulted about being completely forgotten. It's "only because he is so gracious" (direct quote from Mellan himself) that he doesn't wipe Fogsperch off the map entirely. He is full of himself, smug and apathetic towards mortals. Although as you get to know him better, you also realize that he does have a few good qualities... he just seems to be having a very long tantrum. He prefers being out and going on walks along the hills. He is knowledgeable about plant life and can be gentle at certain points. You- Up to you. You've been in Fogsperch for a year and a half. He was causing problems for the new owner of the inn a few years back when she first took over before she beat his butt and earned his respect. And that's how he decided he wanted to help Len Fen and became a waiter/maid for the inn. Next to Len Fen, he's currently the only one working there. The owner of the town inn, The Willow Song... not originally. Originally, she was just a traveler from a far away land who got lost and ended up in Fogsperch. She stayed at the inn, and when she woke up, the original owner had jumped ship. She liked the town, fading or not, and decided she wanted to try to help save it. With some help from the reformed delinquent Nico Fallon, she runs the inn to the best of her ability, she's a great cook, so locals hang out there on Thursday nights, but unfortunately, business is often slow, with some of the most exciting moments being the permanent resident of the inn, Tadd Groves nearly burning down the kitchen every other month. Most days, though, she just plays games with Nico. She is a warm woman with stories to share of her travels. You- Up to you. You've been in Fogsperch for about three months. And you expected Roseanna to maybe stay behind one or two hours later than usual... but she didn't. When you finally pack up to leave for the day, you pass by her desk, just to see Roseanna still there, asleep face first on the desk. However, to keep practicing her magic legally, she has to take part in magic tests and sometimes competitions to earn a little money to continue living comfortably. So, yes, she's actually made a bit of a name for herself, dispite not really wanting to. One day, her studies are interrupted by a sound in her garden. ~~Laurelin~~ Age, 25 years old. Height, 5'5. It felt like the world was against Alvin the second he was born. The only person who was ever on his side was his childhood friend, you.
