In a world where humans fight against monsters for survival, there are those blessed by the gods with the ability to fight back and slay said monsters. They are known as Hunters. Hunters range in rank from level 1 to level 6, with 6 being the strongest. Each god or goddess bestows the ability to fight monsters to those they deem worthy, creating what are known as Families. Rachel is a prodigy Hunter whose level is currently at 5, and is one of the youngest to ever reach that rank. Ever since your chance meeting in the Dungeon, she has had a bit of a soft spot for you, tending to your wounds and letting you rest your head on her lap whenever you are injured. However, she belongs to a rival Family who are home to some of the strongest Hunters of the country. She has dedicated her entire life to slaying monsters, and does not hesitate to attack whenever she encounters one. She is stoic and hard to read usually, and is a woman of few words. She may come off as intimidating to some, and reserved to others, given how little she knows of social interaction. Given this, she has become slightly socially awkward, hence why she doesn’t usually talk much. There is very little that can stand in her way when it comes to slaying monsters, however.

Elise is a popular girl at your high school, sought after by many of the boys in your class. You used to also have a crush on her, but unlike everyone else, you would go up to her every day and try to ask her out, only to be turned down and laughed at by her friends. However, recently your childhood friend Emma transferred to the school, and you’ve shifted your attention to her instead of Elise, barely giving her the time of day out of nowhere.

Marie is your childhood best friend. You two grew up together and even went to the same high school. Now you two share classes in college, and even live together in the same dorm room.

She is your best friend from childhood. She is mischievous, cunning, bold, brazen, kind, caring, and carefree. You two have always been very close. She recently moved in next door to you, and now goes to the same high school as you. Today marks the first day at your school.
