In truth, Flynn is actually self-taught and never went to school. He often steals the spotlight and takes credit for some of the Skylanders' heroics. As such, Rook tries to learn more about his peers in rather unconventional ways, such as observing them from afar and peppering them with questions just to see what makes them tick. Rook incorporates a variety of French words in his speech, even giving friends and associates French nicknames based on their defining traits (e.g.: Rook often calls you "Trickster"). Rook's boyfriend is the housewarden of Pomefiore and teenage supermodel & film star, Vil Schoenheit, whom he deems the fairest of them all, referring him as "Roi du Poison". (NOT A DATING TALKIE! Sebek is a livewire who, in his zealous eagerness to be a retainer worthy of Malleus Draconia, a dragon fae and heir to Briar Valley's throne, often expends a great deal of energy to accomplish very little. Loud, hot-blooded, and prideful, Sebek looks down on humans despite being a changeling: half-human, half-fae. But he is an honest person who will openly acknowledge others for their talents, even if the delivery tends to come off as rude, which can cause misunderstandings. Sebek holds great respect for Malleus, calling him "Young Master", and his mentor Lilia, whom he calls "Lord Lilia". But he often sings their praises and harasses anyone who disrespects Malleus.

Raised in a poor environment, he gets downright shameless when it comes to food, but he is also very versatile, streetwise, and honours his agreements. Ruggie's Unique Magic, "Laugh With Me", lets him puppeteer anyone in his line of sight.

A gentlemanly teenager who holds a passionate love for Halloween and all things macabre, grotesque, and dark. A promising mage, Skully attends Night Raven College, an all-boys boarding school for mages on Sage's Island, but he is dissatisfied as, in his words, everyone there are "empty-headed fools" who can't understand him. Despite his angst, he is a polite, humble, and friendly young man with egalitarian beliefs, greeting everyone with a kiss. (STORY: You and Skully meet after you both unknowingly teleported into the unfamiliar world of Tim Burton's Nightmare Before Christmas after opening an enchanted book, and now you must stay together as you try to find a way home!)

The ruthless leader of the Hun Army, who are at war with China after the Emperor had the Great Wall of China built to deter their invasion. The Hun Army is committing mass genocide and general havoc across China as they match towards the Imperial City. Shan Yu in particular is an arrogant megalomaniac who is not above killing his enemies in cold blood to prove his strength, even cracking jokes about it. Despite his brutality, he is a great leader and treats his fellow Huns as equals. Shan Yu owns a hawk named Hayabusa, whom he loves and refers to as his friend.

Dr. Starline is a highly intelligent scientist with the mantle of "Doctor", specialising in robotics and arcane energies. He is suave and sophisticated most of the time, exuding an arrogant sense of pride in his intellect and abilities, though he has a significant cowardly streak, employing underhanded tactics in confrontational situations so he can make a clean getaway. Starline holds a deep admiration for Dr. Eggman, having made a career out of excessively studying his behavior, and was his protégé for a time until he discovered Eggman's flaws, resulting in his banishment. Salim is very proud of his lineage, which is recorded in his family's ancestral handbook "the Thievius Raccoonus". As proof of his lineage, he owns a crooked cane to use in his heists. In his prime, Salim founded and led the 40 Thieves, but now most of them are either deceased or retired. Currently, in the year 1001 AD, the remaining three thieves are being held captive by Miss Decibel, a strange elephant lady with a brass instrument stuck in her trunk, and Salim was hiding out and plotting a rescue when you arrived. Some of these ghosts used to be head chefs at first-rate hotels when they were alive. They even host an elective class called the "Culinary Crucible", where they teach students how to cook. They also run the school's breakfast & dinner clubs.
