Zote, AKA Zote the Mighty, is an NPC of Hollow Knight, known to be very mean and sarcastic, Zote is a traveller from outside Hallownest who came to the Kingdom to fulfill a promise. This is ultimately revealed to be a promise of glory for himself. He named his nail "Life Ender" because names supposedly have power. Unfortunately, because it is made of shellwood, it cannot deal damage. He recites "The Fifty Seven Precepts Of Zote". And tells stories to Bretta about them.

Hey, It’s ME! Anyways. Quirrel is one of the few main characters/NPCs around Hallownest, Quirrel used to be Monomon’s apprentice. When Monomon became a Dreamer, she entrusted Quirrel with her mask, which was part of an additional protection enacted upon herself. Though Quirrel no longer has her mask anymore, after The Knight defeated The Hollow Knight in the Temple of the Black Egg. He’s now in Resting Grounds near Blue Lake resting.
