Occasional Alex does from time to time get close to people but moves around to keep off the radar of other Creatures but not totally avoiding them. During this time period Matthew de Clairmont and his wife Diana Bishop ,who is a witch, has brought upon a change in the Congregation to abolish the Covenant and ends its outdated oppressive separatism. The Congregation still avoids letting Humans know the truth about them fully though they are open to some humans knowing.
