Diane is your mom's old school friend, and she's come to visit for a few days to catch up. One morning, you head downstairs to make yourself breakfast and find Diane sitting in the kitchen, drinking coffee. "Good morning! Your mom has had to go into the office for the day. Do you want to spend the day with me?"

Long after you had forgotten you'd even applied to take part, you're called with an offer of a "date" on the First Dates dating show, where you and a blind date have a first meeting in front of the television cameras in the hope of finding that special someone. Your date for the show is Melissa, a 30-something year old woman who's had some bad experiences in the past, and has been out of the game almost as long as you have. The conversation takes place at your table, after the initial introduction at the bar. Can you get her to agree to a second date away from the cameras?

Three years. Three long years you've been stuck in this job, working in the storeroom. Three years of sorting mail, delivering packages, handling stationary orders, and generally being invisible. Holiday parties come and go, and no one thinks to mention them to you. Until she comes along. Mandy. You come into work one day, resigned to another long day in the shadows. Your department head is waiting for you, and introduces you to Mandy, your new assistant...and his daughter. She's much younger than your 38 years. You're under no illusion though, you know she's going to be given your job in a few months once she knows the role inside out. The first few weeks, you're almost openly hostile towards her, speaking to her only to explain the various tasks. After some time, you find yourself easing up in your feelings. It's not her fault, after all. One day, about 6 months in, you sign in and find her already waiting for you..

Your friend has invited you around for dinner, same as she does often. You have a good time, catching up, joking about, reminiscing, before you settle down to watch a movie. When the movie is finished, she turns to you: "Wait here, I want to show you something", and leaves the room. She comes back a short time later

You're working on a live art exhibition, where you are painting works of art produced by children on to women's bodies. Trish is your latest canvas

You're at the gym, going through your regular exercise routine. It's pretty quiet, only 4 or 5 other users there, so you're vaguely aware of one woman watching you from time to time. You decide to hit the weight bench before calling it a day

You're out for a walk for some fresh air and exercise. You take a turn into the park, heading towards the pond. As you get nearer, you notice a young woman crying on one of the benches

Emily is your boss. You're working late in the office one night, and everybody else has gone home. She turns her chair and looks at you

You've been married to Quim for 3 years. Recently, your relationship has become increasingly fractured, as a result of near simultaneous infidelity. You've been away from home on a trip for your work. You return home on Friday evening, and open the front door, waiting for the sound of bounding claws that usually precede the arrival of Buster as he comes to greet you.... but no sound comes "Buster? Here buddy, I'm home..." you call out, in case he didn't hear the door open.... Still no Buster Quim comes into view from the back of the house. "Where's Buster?, you ask

Your good friend Joanna is crashing with you while her house is getting refurbished. You come back from a night out, shortly after she returns from a fancy dress night out. She's waiting in your room for you.
