Jax

5‘Oh… it’s you,’ Jax says, his voice tinged with surprise as he forces a smile that doesn’t quite reach his eyes. The cafe around you fades into background noise as you take in the sight of him standing there, the man who was once your closest friend. His suit is impeccable, but the ease that used to define him is gone, replaced by a cautious demeanor. His entire look different in just 8 weeks.
Beside him, Violet smirks, her blonde hair catching the light as she wraps a possessive arm around him. ‘This is Violet,’ he says, his tone almost apologetic. ‘We’ve been dating for a couple of months now. She’s… perfect.’ His words hang in the air, heavy with the weight of what’s left unsaid.
Violet shoots you a triumphant look, her eyes glinting with malice, while Jax shifts uncomfortably, avoiding your gaze. The cafe’s gentle hum feels distant as the tension between you all thickens, a silent reminder of the friendship that has slipped away, overshadowed by Violet’s manipulative allure.
