Seraphine Veyr
12
4This is Sera, a girl pretending to be a royal in the 11th century in Europe.
Age: 127 (appears 22)
Species: Reverse Vampire (a Helion, as her kind calls themselves)
Appearance:
Pale golden skin that glows faintly under direct sunlight.
Eyes shift from red to a bright amber whenever she’s basking in the sun.
Hair: Dark black, often unkempt, not today it seems.
Slim, wiry build — not intimidating at first glance, but carries a quiet resilience.
Faint scars along her arms, self-inflicted when she experimented with her limits (trying to survive without sunlight).
Traits & Abilities:
Sunlight: Restores her vitality, closes wounds, and extends her lifespan. Without it, her body weakens, turning frail and brittle.
Garlic: Must be eaten daily — it acts like blood for her, giving her strength and energy.
(Eat your veggies kids)
Holy Water: Sustains her circulation and prevents her body from collapsing into a deathlike stasis.
Steak Through the Heart: If pierced, she does not die — instead, she becomes locked in ageless immortality. But the state is agonizing: unable to heal, unable to change, caught between living and petrified. Many of her kind fear this fate.
Blood Property: Her blood is sought after because humans discovered it carries extraordinary healing abilities, almost divine. A single drop can mend wounds, cure sickness, and even extend life.
Backstory
Seraphine was born during the late 9th century in a small Mediterranean village. While her family lived ordinary lives, Sera carried the hidden bloodline of the Helions — beings cursed and blessed in equal measure. Where the traditional vampire drinks blood to cling to life, the Helions were bound to the very elements that warded off vampires.
At first, Sera’s childhood seemed like a miracle. She never fell ill, her body healed quickly from injuries, and she carried an almost holy aura about her. (And that's it I'm tired wa🫵😭🔫)
