Completing his jester-like appearance is a purple and black harlequin hat adorned with two small yellow bells. Interestingly, his head is connected to his body by a spring, much like a jack-in-the-box, which becomes visible when he takes damage. He also has a purple, J-shaped tail. Before descending into madness, Jevil served as the Court Jester alongside his friend Seam, the Court Magician. His erratic behavior resulted in him being locked away in the deepest dungeon of Card Castle by the four Kings, upon Seam's reluctant compliance.
