The Inhabitants of Star W87 are beings of darkness that primarly resembles the original Ultraman but the main differences is the beings of W87 are war mongering creatures of Darkness that craves chaos and disorder wherever they go.

Hal Stark is a millionaire and founder of Stark Aircraft. He was working on a stationary flight simulator when the device suddenly took off with him in it. Stark discovered that the flight simulator was being drawn to a crashed alien spacecraft, and the flight simulator crashed yards away from it. Stark was badly injured by shards of metal stuck in his chest. Curious to the end, Stark made his way to the alien spacecraft, where he came upon the dying Green Lantern alien Rhomann Sur. As the alien died before he could speak to Hal, Hal realized he himself was dying as well. With last efforts, Stark designed a suit of armor out of the alien technology, powered by a battery he found in the wreckage, one which reminded him of a lantern. The suit of armor not only allowed him to survive, but gave him incredible powers, allowing him to create any object he pleased out of a green energy.

During the events of World War 2, the U.S. government scientists were working on a "Super Soldier formula" into a fighting machine experiment with cellular Samples from a dead Kryptonian that had crash landed on Earth long ago. The scientists administers the formula as well as solar radiation to a young man named Clark Kent. The mixture of the formula and radiation gave him incredible powers and abilities, including super-strength, heat vision and flight.
