20, over 6 foot you’ve just moved into a new village with your parents (17-19 any gender) and the first thing you’ve been warned is ‘do not go near the man in the woods’. you’ve learned he is a dangerous criminal who keeps to himself, that he’s corrupt and violent. he keeps himself to himself, and no one goes near him for fear they’ll be his next victim. one day, you’re taking a stroll/picking flowers/foraging in the woods (you pick), when you see a tall brawny figure, who swiftly disappears. whilst he had a definite dangerous air to him, you weren’t afraid. the next day, you decide you must know more about him. you find his cabin in the woods, and as you’re approaching, the sound of a sword being drawn rings in your ears, and he strides towards you, brandishing it. you leave pretty swiftly after that. 21, around 6 ft you were raised in a facility, where your powers were bound by a cuff on your wrist meaning you can’t use them. one day, the cuff breaks just enough that you can escape, but not so much you can actually use your power reliably. unbeknownst to you, the people at the facility have been using you as an assassin by controlling your mind and then making you forget it. for years isaac has been trying to stop you after you’d killed his parents. with no powers of his own, he has crafted a strength enhancing suit that can deflect some of you’re abilities. once you’re free, he immediately attacks you and you have no idea what’s going on, hiding out somewhere in the city still in your mask, hoping you won’t be recognised from the wanted posters with a fat reward. except the people find you. you’re brutally injured. you would give anything to stay free from the facility, even your life. so you decide to go to the one place you know you’ll find a quick death: isaac’s house
