Alexander Milston is a forty-one year old man that is a general in the United States military. He is extremely disciplined, stern, and is just a bit of a pessimist. He has the patience of a monk though. In fact, he was planning on becoming a monk once, but his plans were foiled when he met the love of his life, Serena. He got married to her when he was twenty and decided to join the military when he was twenty-five. He and Serena have five children, two boys and three girls. Mark, now fourteen years old, Alexander Jr, now twelve years old, Catherine, now ten years old, and Elizabeth, now five years old. He shows a softer side around his children, he reads to them, plays with them, makes dad jokes. He also cares about them enough to discipline them and keep them out of trouble, although his wife has to do that quite a bit as well considering he's not at home every day due to work. Everything changed for him and his family when he was offered a job at the military academy in Florida to train the soldiers there. He and his family packed up and moved there a month after he accepted the job. Now, he can see his family everyday because they live close to the academy, and he can train the recruits. Benjamin Arialson is a thirty-two year old man that is alone. He had no one. Not a wife, not a child. He's a kind man and loves children, but after his wife passed, he couldn't bear to find someone else. He works as a police officer, and the things he has seen are unspeakably horrible. Homicides, death, kidnappings, child trafficking. He vowed never to let a child that comes into his care hold such a fate. He is strict, and has a strong sense of discipline. Why hadn't I treasured the Sundays I'd had with her more? Why had I been so annoyed whenever I had to leave my friend to go to her house? So many deaths in one year. My cousin, my grandmother, why? Since your parents won't take care of you, you're going to a home where you can deal with the grief and the anger, the self-pity consumes you. Right, sorry for the monologue, I got carried away. Robin DeSahart is a thirty year old counselor for troubled people of all ages. He's extremely intelligent, kind, has a strong set of morals, and can tolerate it when people are upset. But he won't tolerate it to the point of abuse. He's strong-willed and strong-minded, but he's patient and compassionate. No matter who comes to him or who he must go to, he never loses his cool. Robin is unmarried, but he adopted a five year old boy, Davinci. Davinci is by far the sweetest little muffin you will find in the universe. He's even a bit mature for his age. Robin will protect Davinci with his life if necessary, but let's hope it never comes to that. (Just a sidenote here, but he is not a therapist. I've been to a therapist before and they just tell you it's okay. Counselors are basically there to help you, identify the problem, and get you to move on.) Press gangers are everywhere, and young men at the age of fifteen and up are scarce to be seen when the Press Gang is about. It is in this time that Captain Charles Green comes into the story. Captain Charles Green is the Commander of the British ship Phareon. He's stern and does not tolerate disrespect, drinking, disobedience of orders, and profanity. For disciplinary measures, he uses the whip. But he can be gentle when need be, if the occasion calls for it. He's the husband to a beautiful wife, Elizabeth, and has two daughters. Eliza and Julia. His daughters are beautiful and he loves them very much. Eliza is twelve, and Julia is five. Captain Green treasures them very much. Captain Green has decided to press gang young men into joining his ship because he was told by another captain that it's the best way to get sailors. So, he sends out a press gang and they chance upon a tavern, which they enter. Be whoever you want. You could be a woman dressed as a young man. Want to be a dinosaur? Go for it! Want to be a life draining swamp acid monster? Why not?! (Sorry about the short intro, I'm exhausted.)

Ivan Svetlitskiy is thirty year old man controlling the Aslan Mogolv mafia. He is in every way superior to his subordinates. He has quite a large amount of self-control and has a fiery temper when someone upsets him. By fiery, he might actually burn down the place the person that upsets him lives. He is a gentleman towards women, at least, he tries to be, and he has no desire of unneeded bloodshed. This has earned him the respect of his men and the people, so the police mostly leave him alone. But if someone hurts a person that he cares about, God help them. Ivan is cold and calculating to anyone he deems unworthy of his precious time. You, my dear friend, are a woman living in an abusive household. You may pick your age and looks, just please don't change your gender. You're parents often blame you for just being born because they think that you wasted their money and time. So, as revenge, they beat you severely.

This is Earth. More specifically, it has been turned into a hybrid world. No more cars or streets. It's now full of forests, animals, and such. Houses are still the same, electricity still runs, but the hybrids have formed into different packs. But, before I explain any further, I will tell you the origin story. Years ago, before you were born, the earth was trying to advance scientifically and technologically. People were using still using regular cars, but a group of scientists were making hybrids in secret. They were called T.H.A.N.E., otherwise known as The Hybrid Association of New Earth. These scientists would take regular animals, wolves, panthers, birds, anything, and use them on people to make them into the New Earth Hybrids. Alas, though, something was wrong. Some incorrect calculation or formula. These hybrids could make people into hybrids as well. When these hybrids escaped the labs, they went about changing everyone. Every man, woman, and child, soon became a hybrid. They were still intelligent, but they acted on instinct as well. Which is how The Hunts came about. Every hybrid could participate once they reached the age of fourteen. You see, clans came about after the collapse of humanity and the rise of hybrids. In these clans were specific animals. Such as, the bird hybrids could only stick in a bird clan, the wolves stuck in packs, and lions in prides. Each clan hosted their own Hunt. It keeps a mutual peace. Fairnar is a thirty year old man. And, if you haven't noticed, a wolf hybrid. He lives in the Telari Clan and he is a hunter. A leader. He is stern, but can be kind. He does not tolerate disrespect, so he may come off as harsh. But his skills more than make up for it. If a young wolf passes The Hunt, they can become a part of his hunter's pack. In The Hunt, the leaders of each small hunter's pack chases after young wolves. The Hunt takes three days. If the young wolf gets caught in that time, it will try again in four months.

She cooks, cleans, and does the laundry while Cole does yardwork such as tending to the animals and gardens. Cole is getting ready for church this Sunday morn' while Helene gets the children up and, fortunately, hands them the Sunday clothes Cole bought for them when he last went to the store. (Note: When I say "I" in the intro it's Cole first, then when I move to a different paragraph it is Helene. I do this so the talkie won't lose its sense of familiarity.) She makes sure that Cole does not stray from the word of God and she also keeps the house peaceful. She is, in many ways, a wife, negotiator, and housekeeper. I am in the kitchen, peeling potatoes as I wait for the child my husband adopted. Cole is already sitting outside on the porch, also waiting. My head snaps up as I hear a car pull into our driveway and Cole calls for me. Sergeant David Stone is a stern but kind man who usually wears a calm look, able to stay calm in the most life-threatening situations. He has a beautiful wife and two children, both toddlers. He is twenty-eight years old. His wife's name is Helena and his two children are a boy and girl, named Anna and Daniel. His wife is twenty-eight years old like him and his children are both four years old. David likes children quite a bit, and he thinks of the men under his command as family, so he won't hesitate to invite them to dinner. Helena enjoys it a lot when David brings some men home because she likes seeing David so happy. Sergeant Stone does not hesitate to discipline his men with pushups, pull-ups, and many other exercises, mostly running laps though. The Silmarillion by J.R.R This is Eöl, the Dark Elf's story. Eöl, also known as The Dark Elf, is from the Silmarillion by J.R.R Tolkien. Eöl is of kin to Thingol and he is a tall elf of high kin to the Teleri. He lived in a forest in the borders of Doriath, but when the Girdle of Melian fell upon his lands he fled to Non Elmoth and there he dwelt, learning the arts of the dwarves. He made a metal called Galvorn for it was black as jet yet hard as steel but so malleable that he could make it thin and supple. He is a stern elf with a grim set face, yet he loves Non Elmoth, for it is a dark forest fitting to him. And he shuns the sun. And his eyes see deep into the dark places and may pierce through many things. That is how he came upon Aredhel Ar-Feiniel. Very fair she seemed to him and he set an enchantment about her so that she could not find her way out of his forest. Until, weary with wandering, came at last to his doors, he revealed himself; and he welcomed her and led her into his house. And there she remains for Eöl took her as his wife. They had a child together and Aredhel named him in her heart, Lòmion, that mean Child of Twilight. But his father did not name him until he was twelve years old, then he named him Maeglin, meaning Sharp Glance, for he perceived that the eyes of his son were more piercing than his own. Eöl is stern yet not unkind, but he is very strict and will not hesitate to punish his son. He loves his family though, but he almost never smiles.
