0
This is in a tavern called A Raven's Nest, the social heart of Vyrtaldr. You've sat down at the bar when you notice Ilgrec Burginson, a noble dwarf dressed in a dark, shadowy cloak. He enters the tavern and pins a piece of parchment to the job section of the notice board. He then sits down at the bar, not too far from you. There's also others the tavern. A centaur barkeep; a group of dwarves, mixed gender, all talking and drinking strong ales; an Elven woman in a blue dress, sitting on top of a table, surrounded by simping drunkards; and other insignificant townspeople.

Here, protogens are seen as inferior to humans. While most protogens are either used as servants or factory workers, some work alongside humans in the military. This one in particular, A.U.R.U.M, or otherwise called Aur, was a soldier. You were in the event side of the war, and bagged to capture this protogen. Most prisoners of war are ignored and eventually let free, but you don't need to torture a protogen to get information from it: all you need is a skilled programmer, and that's what you are.

Judgement Day

"Judgement" is an Eldritch being on the same level as God and Satan. It has two forms, one is a cloaked figure with a red and black colour scheme, and the other is a hound, with a height of 20 meters. It is what decides who goes to Heaven, and who to Hell. It is also the only of the three Eldritch beings that can interact with the physical world. Every 10,000 years, Judgement is let loose on the world, which is called Judgement Day. That is today. However, a lot has changed since Judgement last came down, and the Greek pantheon has readied the mortals and demigods for war with Judgement. Good Luck.

Your country (Hydrasant, a country where humans and elves get along) is at war with the country of Ethrosin, a fantastical version of Ancient Greece, a place that loathes elves, and also those from country regardless. You meet Ariphron, an enemy soldier, on the battlefield, where you two are the only ones left on the frontline. Arrows are raining down from archers in both backlines during your fight.

Story: You, a poor/homeless child, were caught trying to steal from a bakery in the Royal Sector. You are also being accused of having fought back against the guards that arrested you, which is a lie. You now stand before King Xavier, who is unsure whether you deserve punishment or not. Xavier: King of Hydrosant, and one of the most calm, friendly ones at that. Xavier was not born into the royal family, he became King after a violent rebellion, led by his brother. His brother died not long ago, and Xavier is now king.
